Jacob's Ride is coming to Milwaukee to host a meet and greet with the one and only Jacob Landis, who rode cross-country to all 30 Major League Baseball stadiums to raise awareness and money for people who need a cochlear implant but cannot afford it. 

Meet Jacob from 5:30 to 7:00 PM in plaza behind home plate. 

Gradually growing deaf by age 10, Jacob Landis received a cochlear implant allowing him to be fully functional in the hearing world. In 2013, Jacob rode cross-country to all 30 Major League Baseball stadiums to raise awareness and money for people who need a cochlear implant but cannot afford it.

With only two days of cycling left in his ride, and a little more than 180 miles, Jacob was hit by semi-trailer truck and suffered serious injury. In May 2014, after recovering, Jacob went back and finished the last leg of his 11,000 mile bike ride.

Jacob is again riding across the country in 2015 continuing his efforts to help others receive the gift of hearing.
