connecthear teleintervention services

ConnectHEAR is a nationally recognized program of HEAR Wisconsin providing access to specialized intervention - no matter where a family may live!   With ConnectHEAR, distance doesn’t matter!    Access to professionals with expertise, training and experience working with children who have hearing differences is possible by using the internet and a laptop, smartphone or tablet. Therapy can be provided in a family’s own home or child’s school using this highly successful and evidence-based method of teleintervention.

As HEAR Wisconsin is the only agency, in the state, offering early intervention therapy provided by LSLS Certified Auditory-Verbal professionals, ConnectHEAR was originally established, in 2007, to offer families choice and the opportunity to pursue listening and spoken language for their child.

As the program expanded, ConnectHEAR offers intervention services across a continuum of communication and educational opportunities.  Additionally, many families have benefited from participation in the fun and learning of TeleToddler Communication Groups.

Benefits of the ConnectHEAR program can include:

  • Speech- Language- Pathologist and Audiologist Professionals, who are specially trained and have expertise across therapeutic options providing intervention services to families of children with hearing differences
