How can we help?

HEAR Wisconsin audiologists are licensed healthcare professionals who have graduated with a doctor of audiology degree (Au.D.). They are experts in evaluating, diagnosing, treating, and managing hearing loss in children and adults.

Our audiologists have access to the newest technology in hearing healthcare. When you come in for a visit, the first step will be a hearing evaluation. Our audiologists will use the results from that evaluation to work with you on the best options to meet your unique hearing and communication needs.

HEARING Evaluation

Visit our state-of-the-art clinic for a quick and affordable hearing evaluation conducted by our doctors of audiology.

A hearing evaluation is a thorough assessment that will help the audiologist understand the nature and degree of any hearing loss you may have. Our doctors of audiology will use the results from this evaluation to help you find the best treatment options.

HEARING AIDS

Today’s high-tech hearing aids are discreet and very effective, with many options to fit your lifestyle.

If you have hearing loss that cannot be treated medically or surgically, hearing aids may be the best option for you. The first step to determine if you are a candidate for hearing aids is a comprehensive hearing evaluation performed by one of our audiologists. Based on this evaluation, your audiologist will make a recommendation. Since HEAR Wisconsin is a nonprofit, we can recommend the best device for you from any manufacturer. All revenue from your purchase is also reinvested into the organization to help other children and families with hearing loss.

HEARING AID FITTING

After selecting the correct type of hearing aids, your audiologist will help adjust the devices so they amplify sound without causing discomfort and to ensure they fit securely and comfortably in your ear. Adjustments to the hearing aids’ settings are done with a computer at HEAR Wisconsin. It is important to note that a clinic does not accurately represent the variety of sounds you will hearing throughout the day.

By working closely with your audiologist, you can find the best settings for your lifestyle and communication needs. HEAR Wisconsin also offers additional amplification devices for television and phones.
