SCHOOL SCREENINGS

Diagnosing hearing health issues in children prevents misdiagnosis of a learning disability or ADD and misallocation of valuable school resources.

HEAR Wisconsin brings the Mobile Audiology Clinic and its experts to your school to conduct screenings. We recommend screening all 5K and first-grade students. HEAR Wisconsin can screen up to 100 students a day, so if you can add other grades, we recommend 3rd, 5th, and 8th grade students or targeted screenings based on teacher/parent recommendations. Screenings are done by one of the HEAR Wisconsin’s Doctors of Audiology.

To help cover maintenance costs, there is a travel surcharge. We are happy to cooperate with schools to find partners like the PTO or local Lions Club organizations to help cover the surcharge and provide this important service.
