Meet our new audiology clinic director
We’re excited to share that Dr. Mallory Schroeder, Au.D., has stepped into the role of Audiology Clinical Director at HEAR Wisconsin.
Many of our patients and families may already know Mallory as one of our Pediatric Audiologists. Before joining HEAR Wisconsin, she worked as a pediatric audiologist at Phoenix Children’s and Cleveland Clinic. She earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and has experience in diagnostic evaluations, auditory brainstem response (ABR) testing, hearing technology, and cochlear implants.
In her new role, Mallory will lead our audiology team and help guide the continued growth of our pediatric and adult audiology services. She is especially excited to collaborate with the team across HEAR Wisconsin, bring new ideas to the clinic, and explore innovative approaches to care as our services grow and expand access for more patients and families. This leadership reflects her commitment to keeping care personal as the clinic expands.
As our services grow, one of Mallory’s priorities is ensuring growth never comes at the expense of the personal experience patients have when they walk through our doors. She wants HEAR Wisconsin to be a place where high-quality, evidence-based hearing care also feels welcoming, accessible, and personal.
That approach comes from what Mallory enjoys most about being an audiologist: building relationships with her patients and becoming part of their support team. A hearing loss diagnosis can come with a lot of questions, from understanding test results to deciding what options are right for you or your child. Mallory values taking the time to listen, explain those options, and help patients and families feel knowledgeable and assured in the decisions they make.
Looking ahead, she also hopes to expand access to care and strengthen HEAR Wisconsin’s connections with families, healthcare providers, and organizations throughout the community. By listening to the people we serve, Mallory believes we can keep identifying new opportunities to grow, better meet our needs, and expand our impact in the community.
Whether someone is coming to HEAR Wisconsin for their first hearing evaluation, exploring hearing technology, seeking care for their child, or returning for an ongoing appointment, Mallory wants them to know they have a team they can turn to throughout the process.
Outside of the clinic, Mallory enjoys training for marathons, hiking, camping, and spending time outdoors with her fiancé and their dogs.
