Thanks to our friends at The Lions Clubs

HEAR Wisconsin has had the privilege to work with many wonderful volunteers over the years. These volunteers have helped us update our facility and make sure our events and fundraisers run smoothly.

Recently, the New Berlin Lions and Lioness Clubs have volunteered their time to cook at our WTMJ radio event and run activities at our Zoo Party for our child and family  program.

Lions Clubs International aims to meet the needs of communities on local and global scales. The New Berlin Lions Club was established in 1950 and the Lioness Club followed shortly after in 1977. Both clubs have more than 30 members each and work as one to help hearing and visually impaired individuals and organizations.

Over the years HEAR Wisconsin has received the support of twenty-five Lions and Lioness Clubs in Milwaukee and the Greater Milwaukee area.

We greatly appreciate their support and look forward to continuing our relationships with them!
